Panchgani solo trip + Zostel
After 2years of staying home thanks to Covid, it was finally time to plan my first solo trip (although many of them had failed). I wanted to go somewhere cold, close to my place, easy to travel & great place to stay.
I have been to Mahabaleshwar + Panchgani back in 2013 so had a good idea about the vibes there. I wanted to try out living in dorms and what can be better than Zostels!
Zostel Panchgani is not like your-average dorms it's built out from containers adding to my interest. Travelling to Panchgani is super easy, there's a ton of buses going on route in 4-5hours I took Neeta Volvo which leaves at 7:30am and reaches Mahabaleshwar around 12pm. If you're living in Zostel Panchgani then you can drop off at Dandeghar Bus stop which is 50metres away the location.

Upon reaching Zostel I was awed with the views & how beatiful the entire property is. I had my lunch in Oregano Pizzeria which was great.
I had 3 other people in my dorms which had a capacity of 6. It didn't took us long to get to know each other and start conversations. In the evening I went on a walk to Sydney Point it was pretty cool (literally).
Zostel's common room is where all the fun happens! There were people singing songs for hours which was entertaining. There were many groups partying there I was sleepy asf
