Website is very joyful and beautifully made, here's some feedback.

No focus trap

This is major issue, Opening the command palette and then pressing Tab causes the focus to go out of the scope.

Here's ARIA Guidlines for Dialog that can help you out.

Why ⌘+J

From Notion, Github to Vercel all use ⌘+K for command palettes. It's a muscle memory for me. Would like to hear the choice to go for it.

No Overlay

Opening the palette doesn't give a feel that it is opened. Primary reason is because there's no distinction between it and background.

Adding some animation on open and closing would be better.

Navbar blocks Urls

Visit Press scroll down a bit and try hitting the article links. The navbar blocks the links. But how will the visitor know? It's transparent so people would think it would work.

Maybe add the background after some scroll (similiar how this website adds a border on some scroll).
